Delete your GaGa Chat account

Account and associated data deletion requests for the GaGa Chat Android app (package gagachat.app).

You can request account deletion without reinstalling the app. We will need to verify that you control the account before processing the request. Do not send a password, one-time code, payment card information or a government ID in your initial email.

Option 1 — Request deletion by email

From an email address associated with your account, send a request to privacy@gagachat.app with the subject GaGa Chat account deletion request. If you no longer control that address, explain that in the message so support can discuss an appropriate verification method.

This email link opens your device's mail application; it does not delete the account automatically. If the link does not open, copy the address above into your email application.

Option 2 — Delete from the Android app

While signed in, open GaGa Chat → Settings → Delete account and follow the on-screen confirmation process. Deletion is intended to permanently remove your profile and associated account data and cannot be undone.

What happens to your data?

A verified deletion request covers your GaGa Chat account, its profile and associated data, subject to any limited retention that is legally necessary or needed for security, fraud prevention or dispute resolution as described in our Privacy Policy. Shared messages or media already received or saved by another person may remain in that person's possession.

If you have difficulty requesting deletion, email support@gagachat.app and explain the issue without sending authentication credentials.

Important: Requesting deletion is free. Please do not include sensitive identity documents until a verified support agent explains why a specific verification step is necessary.
